Darius started by sanding off the raised details, then scribed the panel lines back into the plastic.

The canopy was formed by vacuforming clear plastic over the solid canopy removed from the model.

After some careful trimming, the new canopy made a major improvement.

The canopy fixed and blended into the fuselage and the whole model sprayed with Halfords white primer followed by a couple coats of Johnson's Clear.

Undercarriage doors and gear legs were scratchbuilt from bits in the spares box. The replacement wheels are from a True Details set for the A-37 and the propeller was from a Czech Models Grumman Goose
